Talbot may have broken foot: Avery with lacerated spleen ??

A couple of unfortunate developments after last night’s Game Three at MSG:

  • It looks like Penguins’ checking center Max Talbot may have a broken foot, suffered after blocking a shot in last night’s game.  Of course, the Penguins are staying mum on Talbot’s condition.
  • In a much more serious matter, Rangers’ agitator Sean Avery reportedly was unconscious and not breathing and taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York in cardiac arrest.  Let’s hope that Avery’s condition is not as serious as it appears.  UPDATE 12:17pm:  Per TSN, Avery has a lacerated spleen, and is out for the reminder of the playoffs.
