It’s Official: Someone has a Serious Beef with Chris Berman

You may remember that, about a week ago, this hilarious video of Chris Berman chewing out his staff was released to the interwebs. Now, if no further videos of Berman’s off-air antics would have ever been leaked, I’d still be completely satisfied…after all, that clip is easily the best YouTube video I’ve seen in the new year.

But apparently, a single clip of Berman’s douchebaggery wasn’t enough. Within the last 24 hours, not one, not two, but three additional behind-the-scenes videos of the ESPN anchor have been released. Enjoy (and keep in mind that there’s some bad language in these…especially the first one):

I’d love to see Berman do some uncensored highlights for SportsCenter one Sunday. Imagine: And Adrian f***ing Peterson could go all the f***ing way for another Minnesota f***ing Vikings touchdown. Man, this guy has one heckuva potty mouth.

In this clip, we see the more sophisticated side of Berman. Clearly, he knows his stuff when it comes to wine. After his hairdresser walks off the set, though, the creepiness really starts to set in…Berman tells Rebbecca, “I hope I’m there the next time you have the bottle.” Just some flirting, but still, there’s something quite disturbing about the sight of Berman trying to get some action.

As far as Berman’s bitching goes, this clip is tame. But it still shows what a nightmare it would be to work for this guy…rather than being patient with the inevitable technical difficulties that occur on a TV production, he resorts to ripping his staff.

And because of that, it’s easy to see why more of these clips have surfaced. Someone, likely a former employee of ESPN, was frustrated with Berman’s impatience and quick temper, and is getting back at him by leaking these clips to the internet. I, for one, hope there will be many more of these–seriously, seeing another side of Berman has been both hysterical and oddly compelling.
