Chris Berman Isn’t A Fan Of Al Michaels
Look, I honestly didn’t intend for Outsider to become “Chris Berman Central” over the past week or so. But seriously, I’m addicted to these Berman tapes…it seems like every time I turn on the computer, yet another embarrassing Berman video has been leaked to the internet. In the latest leaked video, we see Berman’s feelings about the MNF announcer at the time, Al Michaels (just be aware that Berman curses at the end of this clip):
Seeing Boomer call Michaels a f”**head just made my day. I’ve heard people in the broadcasting industry say that Michaels is a jerk, but I was completely unaware that there was a bit of a rivalry between him and Berman.
Based on Deadspin’s recent chat with the poster of these videos, this is probably the last Berman tape that will be released. If that’s indeed the case, I can’t help but be slightly saddened…these clips are addicting as hell and have had the sports blogosphere buzzing. I belive I speak for all sports fans when I extend major kudos to ampex2000, the YouTube user who’s been posting these videos.
