Mascot Dance Off Goes Horribly Wrong

IUPUI’s Jawz the Jaguar and Oral Roberts’ Eli the Eagle were participating in a friendly dance contest at the Summit League basketball championship when something went awry, and the two mascots suddenly began an all-out brawl with each other. We don’t have video of the whole fight, but we do have footage of Jawz opening up a can of whoop ass on Eli, courtesy of FanIQ:

Nice! For those keeping score at home, that move is called the German Suplex…and although the IUPUI mascot didn’t quite pull off the move to the skill of Kurt Angle, he still got the job done. Unfortunately for Jawz, though, his squad was beaten by Oral Roberts 71-64 Tuesday night, as the Golden Eagles punched their ticket to The Big Dance.
