Boom, Outta Here (Episode 2): KG's flop garners suspension; Obama hates on BCS; Lions excited about losing
MVN's first original sports talk television show "Boom, Outta Here" unleashes its second episode with criticism of the NBA's discipline for Kevin Garnett after an errant slap to Andrew Bogut's face. Discussion moves to President-elect Barack Obama's campaign for a college football playoff system and an important question: Is it more likely the Detroit Lions go winless or the Tennessee Titans run the table?
Hosts Pat McSweeney and Brandon Rosage also give props to American League MVP Dustin Pedroia and lobby for his Red Sox to offer a deal before his head blows up, and finish with pessimism about Mark Cuban's future as a sports owner.

The Wayne Fontes Experience
Stafford signing is either "brilliant" or a "blunder," no in-between
The future of the Lions, and the careers of Martin Mayhew and The Schwartz, rests on the shoulders of a a 21-year-old college kid. For this to be considered a successful signing, Stafford can't be average. He can't be a journeyman. He can't be another Joey Blue Skies/Andre Ware/Chuck Long. No way in Hell, considering the money involved, can he be traded.More of the "Best of MVN"

For all the grit that KG shows, he cans still be a baby at times! What a bitch slap that was. He deserves the suspension for the wussy nature of his retaliation.
I agree with Obama about the playoffs, but lets focus on the stuff that matters Barak.
Pat...you need to check your math. The Titans can't got 16-1 or 15-2 in a 16 game regular season. Mark my words...the Giants will finish with the same or better record than the Titans. My gut is both end at 14-2.
The little pony does it all! Pedroia is a deserved MVP for sure. The Red Sox were right not to sign Pedroia last year, he was only one season into his career and the Red Sox don't need to buy out people like the Rays and Longoria to hedge against things like this. I do think they will sign him this year to a long term deal.
I find it hard to believe that the SEC has a strong case here. I think he'll lose the Cubs bid out of this here though.

rosage,
Good show brotha! Glad to see a bit of MVN TV. But Pedroia isn't even close to 5ft 9in. He is 5ft 6in. on a good day! Still can swing the stick.
