Daric Barton for Nick Johnson
Why would the A's even think about this deal? Because Nick Johnson, when healthy, is the type of player Daric Barton dreams of becoming. Nick hits for high average, walks a ton, and hits for decent mid-level power. He also is a great fielder. At the plate, Daric looks to potentially be the same type of player average- and OBP-wise, though likely won't ever develop the power that Nick has.More of the "Best of MVN"
