With the Phillies season ending just short of the ultimate prize on Wednesday night the attention of the Philly pulse turns squarely back on the Birds. The Eagles have quietly put together a two game win streak following their embarrassing loss to the Raiders and currently pace the NFC East. Oh and in case you didn’t know the Cowboys are coming to town for a nationally televised Sunday Night Football match-up.
The bitter rivals have played their share of big contests in the past few seasons including last years virtual playoff game that saw the Eagles open up a Stone Cold sized can of whoop ass on the Cowgirls. Tony Romo and company never knew what hit them.
This Sunday night will be for first place in the division and can mark a 3-0 start in the division for the Eagles. The Cowboys come in with a loss to the Giants already so another loss in the division would already start to bury them in the tie-breaking scenarios.
