Tabata is fatter. I can buy him being 220. Really needs to get that under control.

The full game was shown on YES at 1:00 since they didn’t show the Yankees batting yesterday.

Tabata looks bigger, he’s definitely got a little gut working. He also slacked off running out a grounder; didn’t make it 2/3 of the way down the line, which I didn’t like one bit.

Jose Tabata missed a HR in his first AB, he is a little pudgy but my guess is he’s gaining weight to burn it into muscle that is not uncommon for OFs.
He slacked off running once in this game but today he went 2 for 5 and raised his average to .297, kid has a cannon and in the OF he looks like he has a quick first step.

Waiting for more recaps, news on the minors and the pofiles. This is the thing to get excited about in this organization this days.
