Indians Washed Out

This evenings' game between the Indianapolis Indians and the Louisville Bats has been rained out.  It's been raining here since mid-morning, and it's supposed to continue until the early morning hours on Sunday.  They waited quite a while before calling it, since the game was sold out and the downtown fireworks will be visible from Victory Field (if the clouds don't come any lower).  It looks like we'll be playing two on Sunday.

A few roster moves:
OF Jonel Pacheco has been promoted from Altoona, to take the roster spot that belonged to Garrett Jones.  Pacheco was in the line-up tonight, supposed to play left field.

The Indians also swapped catchers with Altoona.   Miguel Perez, who had been promoted to the Indians on June 16th, is going back to Altoona, and Milver Reyes is joining the Indians.
