A blessed day off. The players, if they got any sense, are relaxing and not thinkn bout baseball and not working out. Your mind and muscles DO need rest. Especially because these days there are so few days off because there aren’t scheduled doubleheaders like there used to be, and days off are usually used for traveling, which isn’t exactly restful.
But anyhow, a few months back Dan Lewis of ArmchairGM.com wrote to me and asked me to help spread the word. I said I would – it’s been a while, but I ALWAYS keep my word.
Armchair GM is a combined blog/baseball Wikipedia. Anyone can add content – like player bios, team and school history, etc. Of course there’s an Astros part of our site:
URL is http://www.armchairgm.com/mwiki/index.php?title=Houston_Astros.
I’m already got my hands FULL writing THIS blog, but in case any of yall been itching to write your own selves, feel free to write the Minute Maid Field page, the AstroDome page, player bios and upload all sorts of photos yall might could have taken.
They’re trying to make ArmchairGM a useful resource for baseball fans and are asking fans to “adopt a team.”
Just click on http://www.armchairgm.com/adopt-a-team and go from there.
