Now that the draft is over and the RookieFA / UnDraftedFA begins it is interesting to see the Patriots focus to soldify the linbacking position.
Obviously this is the case through free agency before the draft with the signing of Adalius Thomas.†
The Patriots also did well in the draft to bring in Day 1 starters.† Um no sorry you are mistaken here.
Did the Pats bring in a few good players through the RFA/UDFA process…. yet to be seen.
So if we look again to the free agency market after the draft, the Patriots will re-sign Junior Seau and sign Edge Hartwell?Not so fast!
According to the Boston Globe, yesterday the Patriots had veteran DT Ian Scott, formerly with Bears, in for a visit.† Expectations are the Super Bowl starter is a Ted Washington or Keith Traylor type that Patriots have used in the past to rotate in the line-up.
