Samuel Officially Back

According to Mike Reiss from the Boston Globe, Samuel signed his franchise tender this morning and is back with the team. As previously reported by Brent, this is obviously a huge boost to an already solid Patriot team. Considering the team has practiced and played three preseason games already, this is almost like signing a Pro Bowl caliber player late in the preseason, as the Pats have pretty much prepared as though Samuel would never return.
All parties seem to be happy that Samuel’s back and things have worked out, at least for this season, with Belichick and Samuel himself commenting on his return. However, Samuel has yet to practice with the team, as he was not reported to be on the field during the media portion of practice today. As what seems to be the mantra around here in New England, we’ll have to take things with Samuel “day to day.”

One Response to Samuel Officially Back

  1. Brent says:

Day to Day is Bill Belichick’s way! haha
He makes me laugh and the media always ask the questions and he gives them the same answer.
All of New England would think he was joking if he ever did actually say what was wrong….
