2007 NFL Awards – Who is MVP – Tom Brady!

Today the NFL will continue to announce the 2007 NFL Awards and name 2007 Most Valuable Player of the Year.
Without a doubt it should be New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Brady has been one of the greatest quarterbacks to play the game and each year seems to only get better.
In 2007, Brady had his best year throwing for 4,806 yards and an NFL record 50 touchdowns with only having 8 interceptions resulting in a personal best of 117.2 quarterback rating.
Add these stats to Brady’s list of other successes as a Patriot such as the best record in the NFL† of 98-26 (.790 through the end of the 2007 regular-season) in regular-season and playoff games and it is hard not to say he is the best player in the NFL in 2007 and a difference maker for the Patriots success as a team and organization.
Congratulations to Patriots Coach Bill Belichick to being named as the Associated Press’ NFL Coach of the Year!

Other 2007 NFL Awards to still be announced:

  • Jan. 7 – Defensive player of the year
  • Jan. 8 – Offensive player of the year
  • Jan. 9 – All-Pro team
  • Jan. 12 – Coach of the Year

One Response to 2007 NFL Awards – Who is MVP – Tom Brady!

    1. Andrew Farrar says:

No doubt it will go to young Brady, who has had a fantastic season so far, but I’d give it to Vrabel – he’s top man in my view.
