Offense looks to fly vs. Eagles

The Patriots play host to the Eagles Friday night in the third, and usually considered the most important, preseason game of 2008. The third preseason game is the one where you will usually see the veteran starters play an entire half and sometimes the beginning of the second half. For Pats fans, this could be the only time this preseason we see the veterans for any extended period, as Belichick has rested many of his veteran players. I think the Patriots need to look at the OL and see how well thez protect the QB (doutbful Brady will play this game) and also to see if they open up runnignholes.
Defensively, I want to see pressure on McNabb and stopping the run. The Dbs are hruting and still suspect so if they give up a few plays so be it, but if the frotn 7 are not able to do the basics as mentioned above then I would have more concern.

I too am not concerned about the secondary. They’ve actually looked much better in camp than expected, especially rookie Terrence Wheatley. You’re right about the front 7 doing its job. Last week, particularly in the middle, they got sliced and diced by Tampa’s RBs.

I don’t think the Pat did much flying during this game. LMAO
