Titans-Lions Injury Report

Not a real injury report per se, but it's still the information we have, so here's the scoop:

LB Colin Allred (concussion), LB Keith Bulluck (chest), CB Chris Carr (shoulder), CB Nick Harper (ankle), DT Jason Jones (foot), and OT Michael Roos (foot) all fully participated in Tuesday's practice.  Harper, Allred, Jones, and DT Albert Haynesworth (knee) all did not participate in Monday's practice, while Bulluck, Carr, Roos, DE Jevon Kearse (knee), WR Justin McCareins (ankle), and DE Kyle Vanden Bosch (groin) all were listed as limited participation in practice.  The latest word is that Harper and Jones are both good to go on Thursday.

For the Lions, LB Alex Lewis (pectoral), QB Dan Orlovsky (right hand), C Dominic Raiola (hand), CB Keith Smith (groin), QB Drew Stanton (concussion), and DE Dewayne White (calf) all missed Tuesday's practice, while DT Shaun Cody (elbow), DT Chuck Darby (calf), WR Mike Furrey (concussion), G Edwin Mulitalo (knee), TE John Owens (toe), DT Cory Redding (knee), LB Ernie Sims (knee), and RB Kevin Smith (shoulder) all participated in practice on a limited basis.

In other injury-related news, the Titans have announced that Rafael Little will remain on the non-football injury list for the remainder of this season, and will be competing for a job come training camp 2009.

Tom,

What is your view on Rafael Little? Where do you think he will fit in for the Titans? They obviously signed him knowing that he would not play this year. Is he Chris Henry's replacement next year or is he Lendale White's??

Scott,
I have (almost) no opinion on Little as NFL player. He seemed decent at Kentucky, but not clearly a guy who'd be a good NFL player-there's a reason he went undrafted. Since we haven't seen him at all in the NFL, I'm taking a very much wait-and-see attitude with him. I will say, though, that right now I think CJ and Hall are the only backs guaranteed to be on the roster next year.

Thanks Tom. I like the fact that you have "almost" no opinion.
