Things could not have started better for the 2012 Mets.

The Mets have won by shutout, they have won by hitting the long ball, they have scored runs in bunches, flirted with a no-hitter, and have come back from a three-run deficit to win in walk-off fashion in the 9th inning. Add it all up and the Amazins are one more victory shy of tying their best ever start to a season (1985, 5-0).

Still, there is one thing this surprising team of home grown talent has not yet done, and that is win with yours truly in the building. That can all change tonight, as I am heading to Citi Field after work for my first Mets game of 2012.
