Section 316(b) of the Clean Water Act presents the power generation industry with significant challenges, both environmental and financial, and NRG needed a partner to help ensure their Arthur Kill power plant on Staten Island met the letter of the law.

Working hand-in-hand with NRG’s manufacturer of choice, MVN provided a single-source solution. We handled all aspects of design and construction, including engineering, mechanical, diving, and electrical—all necessary for the successful completion of a compliant 316(b) project.

We helped the plant meet its compliance goals, and kept the waters of the Fresh Kill as fresh as we found them.
